Copy and Paste tip provided by forum member Menotu

A Copy and Paste tip some people may find handy as it saves having to first create or open a document.

If you've copied some text in, say, a web browser and you want to keep/use that data, there is an easy way to paste it into a document without having to first open a document

So, after doing the copy, switch to Dolphin or Konqueror and do a normal Ctrl+V paste command.

A window will open asking for a file name (see screenshot below); enter a file name and press OK

A document will be created (with the file name you've just given) holding all the data from the initial copy.

The document will be located in /home/yourname/ unless Dolphin or Konqueror are opened to a specific directory and the document will be created there.
