Dell Epson

Perfection Scan V500

PCLinuxOS Version: 2013.02 Desktop Environment: KDE4 Known problems or issues: There are 3 specific files to download and install. These files are not in Synaptic.

1. iscan-data-1.21.0-1.noarch.rpm 2. iscan-2.29.1-5.usb0.1.ltdl7.i386.rpm 3. iscan-plugin-gt-x770-2.1.2-1.i386.rpm

Iscan-data must be installed first and the scanner must NOT be plugged in and you MUST install all 3 files for it to work. I have not given the Epson a thorough test to see what is full capabilities are since I only installed it today. Presumably it will be fully functional though.
