Running Synaptic without a password

Edit as root /usr/share/polkit-1/actions/org.pclinuxos.synaptic.policy

change the following lines to:

    <allow_any>yes</allow_any>
    <allow_inactive>yes</allow_inactive>
    <allow_active>yes</allow_active>

Save the file and now synaptic will no longer ask you for root password.
